The concept for the Coastal Canopy was to turn an exterior deck into additional interior loving space on a timeless floating home. The inspiration of the design was to capture the feeling of light through the canopy of coastal trees near the site. To create an environment that was an extension of the surroundings with all the comforts of home and frame the remarkable views of Mt. Tam in the near distance.
